Key Terms
- Zena – Hirin.ai's AI agent. Zena powers automated CV screening, WhatsApp and call screening, AI interviews, scheduling, document checks, and Talent Pool search.
- Zena Intelligence – the optional AI feature within the CV Screening stage that ranks CVs and auto-shortlists the top percentage.
- Zena Coins – credits that power AI features; your balance is shown at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Tenant – your company's isolated Hirin environment, reached at https://app.hirin.ai.
- LOB (Line of Business) – a way to organise jobs and candidates by business unit, alongside Client and Department.
- Client/LOB/Department – the customer or internal brand/department a job belongs to; controls branding in candidate communication.
- Workflow – the configured sequence of hiring stages for a job (e.g. CV Screening, AI Interview, HM rounds).
- CV Screening – the stage that reviews resumes which is automated and with Zena Intelligence you can use to reach to the most relevant candidates only.
- AI Recruiter Screening – automated first-contact screening over WhatsApp and/or AI phone call.
- AI Interview – a recorded, structured video interview conducted by Zena.
- HM (Hiring Manager) – the person who interviews and decides on candidates; HM Round 1 / Round 2 are interview stages.
- First-Action Wins – when multiple hiring managers are assigned to a stage, the first one to act decides the outcome for that stage.
- Auto-Rejection – automatically filtering out candidates who do not meet defined screening criteria.
- Screening Criteria – reusable rules (e.g. location, notice period, experience) used to shortlist or auto-reject.
- Screening Questionnaire – a reusable set of questions asked during initial screening.
- Candidate Queue – parsed/sourced candidates awaiting verification before being added to a job.
- Talent Pool – the AI-searchable database of all sourced candidates.
- Reopened – the status of a previously rejected candidate who has been returned to their prior stage.
- Recommended Score – a final score Hirin calculates from stage scores using the workflow's weightage.
- MRF TAT – Manpower Requisition Form Turn-Around Time; the average time to close a position (Closed Date - Created Date).
- Recruiter TAT – recruiter turn-around time (Shortlisted Date - Application Date), shown as Fast / Moderate / Slow.
- Insights – the per-job funnel view of candidates across stages.
- Careers Page – your public, branded page listing active jobs where candidates apply.
- Candidate Sourcer – the Chrome extension that imports candidates from Naukri/Shine into Hirin.
